This topic has just GOT to be here.
My favorites are the Pirahna, the CPS 2700, and the Powersurge 2500. Honorable mention goes to the CPS 2500. The XP Triple Play (whatever the blue pistol w/ green bottles was) is one of my favorites just for design.

My favourite soaker would be the CPS 27K (or CPS 2700 if modded soakers aren't allowed).
It's an excellent mid-range soaker, and with a 2x setting and a 800ml PC, shot times are very repectable.
It's large capacity is excellent, and with it's 10x setting it can go toe to toe with the heaviest soakers (20x is just a waste really)
When modded to a 27k, range is more than sufficent. I have a lot of unique mods for my 27k, including a bullpup mod.
I'll link to my SSC topic on CPS 2700 mods. It was written in mid-feb, only a short bit after I joined. Most of the mods are at the top of the page, the bull-pup mod is further down.

Which again reminds me - I need to polish them up a bit for the SSC redo.

I keep forgetting that you (joannaardway) gave me permission to repost that article on Downpour. This is something I'm going to have to do soon, as it is fairly large article with good content.
As far as me, my favorite soaker is still the CPS 2700, has been ever since I got into this stuff. If I had to pick a second favorite it would be the CPS 1200, with the CPS 1500 as a close third. The MI Defender is actually pretty far up on my list as well.

For what I've tried, the 1000 seems to work fairly well. The 2500/2000 takes a lot of pumping and water, and I can't seem to aim that well, nor charge in and blast before running away.
My top 3 I have: (I really can't say if my 1000, 1200, and 2100 set is preferable over the 2500/2000 set my neighboor has since they're almost completely different guns with somewhat different uses)
1000 1200 2100
Top 3 I want to get most:
3200 SC Power Pak (2 of them actually, for the dual wielding) 1500/1700 and/or 2700

My favorite soaker would definitely be the classic SS 300. It has great range (Ben and I measured it as 50 feet on average). It has an 8 liter backpack and a combined 1500 mL of water in the 3 pressure chambers (500 mL) each). The pump volume is a massive 80 mL. Its output is respectable as well (~6X). The only drawbacks are the lack of a trigger (which I personally do not view as a problem, but some may) and the lack of other nozzles. My CPS weapons (1200 and 2100) are also very good, and better in many situations. But when I first got my SS 300, I was blow away by how good its statistics are.

I'm assuming this only includes soakers we have. The Wishlist is for what you want. My favorite stock soaker has to be the CPS 4100. Its size doesn't really affect my mobility much--either that, or other people don't bother to move around much . It easily outblasts my Argon (whose PreCharging is acting up) and my XP 270 (whose stream is incredibly turbulent), especially in terms of range. The only homemade I've ever touched is my mini APH. It hasn't been battle tested, but its superior range should help when fighting opponents. However, even granted the large PC's low dropoff, only a CPH would help me fight better assuming no tap/pump. That said, my neighbors have some guns I quite like...notably the MD5K. It's kinda old, but its stream lamination is almost perfect, it doesn't run out of water easily, and most importantly, it packs my CPS 4100's range in a smaller package. However, that's the only one of my neighbors' larger arsenal that I really want, although I think the Secret Strikes also have similar range. EDIT: Somebody, please sticky this thread.

I like all of my guns. Particularly my MX cuz it's big, my FF because it has a good feel plus it's nozzled, and my 4100 (see above post). Runners Up: My Argon, ARM, and Blazer. They're great, but just not my favorites. And I like the Defender just for its shape. I bet some people aren't wondering by now why I have a Triple Aggressor as my Avatar, but isn't one of my Favs. It's because it was the gun that got me into soaking. Plus, the front nozzle looks nice. And it can shoot backwards when you take out the pistol.

That sounds rather like me there, wetmonkey - I keep on forgetting to do something, and then I get reminded much later on.
Who wants to sign my petition to make the days longer for that extra time to do the stuff I need to?

Me! I get about half the time I need every day. 120 minutes in an hour!
My favorite gun was the 21K. My 1st, 5th, and 6th were notable, as 60ft range was something back in 2004, as well as success with what was the "unmoddable" gun. Such a phrase is unthinkable now when the 2100 is mentioned. Other modded guns may be even more versatile and get even better stats, but that's the one I started with. A mid-size modded gun is the ultimate 1HK soaker, hands down.
My favorite stock soaker is the 2500, another ideal 1HK weapon with an onboard reservoir and good range. I can stretch a 2500 tank out to over an hour, even with heavy fighting. I also love the lack of style and gimmicky designs: this gun means business.
My favorite homemade is any water cannon. Outputs in the hundreds of x literally blow away any other type of soaker.

My favourite stock soaker is a tie between the CPS 1000 and the 1500. The 1000 is the perfect size and weight and is great to hold, but the 1500 is good too has the extra capacity and 10x nozzle.
My favourite soaker I own is my 1200, with a light k-mod and nozzle mod. Good power, switchable nozzles, light and easy to carry.

I haven't picked favorites yet (I don't have that many), but my top 3 is definately my 2100, 1000, and 1200, but those are the only larami CPS's I have. My favorite I've tried would probably be the 2500 but I haven't used it much, and last time I used it I forgot you could set the nozzles to 5 or 10x and I left it at 20, using up too much water at a time. Plus the somewhat inadequete water supply doesn't help unless you're using the smaller nozzles.
Edit: My favorite I have would probably by the 2700 or 1000. (2100 doesn't have a strap, and mine seems to have slightly poor stream lamination) I am currently most interested in trying out the 2500 and the 1500/1700.

I agree that tap/pump is a good idea, but won't the rubber tubing weaken having been fully stretched for 3 hours? I thought it was safe to keep a CPS pressurized for half an hour at most.
