My MiniCPS thread started in isoaker.net. I've already started construction.

Consider posting what's at isoaker here, that way we don't have to jump between pages.

Here is a redesign of MiniCPS. It isn't so Mini anymore, so it's now Typhoon.

Note: I'm going to try to make a trigger, so anyone with knowledge, please help!

If you're using a ball valve I don't think it would be that easy to design a trigger and it wouldn't be easy to with a pull valve either. It would require a case to keep the trigger construction stable. BTW shouldn't this be in "Building Water Guns" not Modifications?

Sun, you should find these two threads very helpful in making a good CPS water gun with a trigger:

http://forums.sscentral.org/t5723/
http://forums.sscentral.org/t5095/

The old "Tech" category is now modifications. Many threads need to be moved. I do not have time to do this but have upgraded many people to administrator so they might be up to the task.

I have the open/close idea down, but I don't know how to fit the trigger onto the pump shaft.

I'm no expert on this, but if you're using a pull valve, couldn't you saw and curve the wire on a broken soaker using pull valves and use its trigger?

I'm using a ball valve, so I can't do that.

True. Well, I don't really know much about this, so I'll just stay away in case I say something stupid  . Good luck! Post at SSc, I don't think you're a member there, I'm sure cantab and Spinner and the other SSc folks would have some more answers.

The third and final design of MiniCPS. It's not to scale because my design is shorter than that. I used a bottom-slung reservoir to reduce length. I am not able to provide any pictures for the next month or so because my camera is broken.
