If you still visit these forums, please give a shout out here! The promise of this place seems a little off-track presently and am looking for those who come here for ideas on how to get it back on track.

For what it's worth, I'm still watching this place.

Wow! Two replies already! That's two more than I expected in this timeframe!

Yeah, trying to get this place a little more active is a nearly dead-horse topic, but at the same time, it'd be a shame to abandon the idea of here as well. Of course, I'm still drawing blanks in terms of how to remedy the current situation.

Good poll at iSc. Although now that I've voted I'm starting to think we should ditch and archive WWc. Putting all the facts out there makes the concept look very impractical indeed, in spite all the work we've put into it (digitally, of course).

Digital work is still most definitely work and I don't think this place should be totally ditched, per se. Personally, I'd lean towards a 'stasis mode' for a bit where the forums are taken off-line and the main page has a notice about WWc's eventual return. During 'stasis mode', Admins and site developers should still have access and this place could use a full refresh. Give the main link page upgrades during 'stasis' so visitors do see there is activity while fully setting up and testing member group privileges, updating the forum skin, etc. to prep for re-launch.

In the meantime, while under 'stasis', Water Warfare League development threads would be set up at SSC and iSn to be eventually brought back here once this place is ready to relaunch.

Granted, not sure how much hosting costs to maintain this place. If those paying for it think keeping this place up for a "pause" costs too much or don't wish to "pause" this place, that's fine too. Re-development can, of course, be done while this place is up and running as it is now, too. I just think it's more inspiring in a sense to close a place to public view during an overhaul and re-open it fresh when it is ready to roll.

Of course, this is just one suggestion. You guys may have a better idea on what you think would be best for here.
