Ok, time to get things rolling again. One of the things we never really came a decisive agreement about was what role WWc should have with the league. The two current suggestions:

- Make a new site for the league
- Run the league off WWc

Personally, I don't see why we shouldn't use WWc. The SEO and visibility potential of WaterWarfare.com is excellent, while adjusting it's focus to the league would be easy, since it has no direction at the moment. There's really not enough activity to support WWc as a stand-alone forum and nothing else.

Just put the league on this site. After all, this is the community forum.

I agree with Drenchenator. Why create more hassle and lose the advantages of a fairly solid website? Even the name, "water warfare", is more than suitable enough.

Build it here; makes the most sense, IMO.

If there's no major reason why not, let's start putting together some of what has already been discussed into more formal format, even if it is wrong and/or incomplete. It'd be good to see what has been discussed to give us an idea on what needs tweaking and what still needs working out.

B)

Agreed, we need to actually do stuff. Since I don't have much time to spend on any one thing, I think more people should have FTP access to WWc. The front page hasn't been updated in forever.

Any chance of potentially setting up some sort of wiki-type thing on WWc? A wiki would be a great tool for ruleset development, I think. It'd let people edit in things when they can, but could be made to limit who can edit and/or go back if a later edit is not liked by the majority. For final rules, a static page/uneditable wiki would be best, but for development, if it could be set up easily, would be nice to have.

Funny you should mention that, I actually have one almost ready to install. One wiki coming right up...
