For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, the remaining "good" days for outdoor soaking are severely numbered. For sake of argument, I consider the start of Fall/Autumn the start of "Off Season". Granted, those farther south may still have many more weeks of good weather, but as many also start a new school/college/university term/semester, activity on the forums typically significantly reduce during this time.

As such, 'tis time to empty one's soakers and put things into storage until next soaker season. After cleaning and allowing my soakers to dry a couple of days to remove the bulk of lingering water, I typically store my soakers in large plastic bins over the winter months.

What do you guys do? Got any particular tips/suggestions for storing soakers? Share 'em here!

I should note that I do still keep a few soakers out, namely a couple of XP215s and XP220s... just in case. :P

Yup, my team is going to conduct one last training exercise late this month before heading inside.

I will first pump the pressure-chambers with air, then fire while pointing the gun downwards (for CPSs) or level (For air-pressure). Then after checking for any repairs that need doing, cleaning the guns and letting them sit with their reservoir caps off, its into the plastic bins, which are kept in a warm area.
