^That's sort of why I suspected it to be a piston based gun. With a pump that big, it would be able to get decent range with a larger nozzle.

And if it, in fact, pressure based, where is the pump? If its electrically pumped, then its not worth getting anyway.

I seriously doubt that its a Piston-Pump gun, the weight, price, build and trigger all point away from that.
it is possible that its an electric gun, but I still think that Hasbro is experimenting with a lever type pump. Which could be good or bad, we won't know until its been tested.

Its compact and solid build make me think in good ways of the Helix, which is a very solidly built soaker. (My brother Ben just got one for his birthday)
